Kellen started K.C. Studio as a way to share his love of beautiful, well-made things through the natural qualities of wood. Designed and built in-house, each piece produced in the studio reflects the highest standards of woodworking.

Born and raised in the Eastern Sierra, Kellen grew up in a family of creatives. He earned his fine woodworking education from The Krenov School in Fort Bragg, California where he received unmatched guidance from uniquely talented craftspeople. Kellen took with him countless invaluable skills which he continues to channel into his work. These lessons combined with his meticulous attention to detail is the foundation of Kellen Carr Studio.

With a focus on hand-selected material and traditional hand tools, our work is a thoughtful expression of modern craft through the fine art of furniture making. We find inspiration from all over but strive to produce timeless designs that do not succumb to trends. All Kellen Carr Studio pieces are made to last generations and enter into each era with ease.
